Alasdair White, originally from the Isle of Lewis in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides, is widely regarded as one of the foremost Scottish fiddlers of his generation. A long-time member of the legendary Battlefield Band, Alasdair has toured the world and recorded with many of Celtic music finest artists. His powerful command of west coast Scottish music and his innovative compositions — including the acclaimed An Iuchair — have made him a leading voice in the tradition.
Eric McDonald, based in Montréal and originally from Boston, is a versatile guitarist and mandolinist known for his subtle accompaniment and strong knowledge of traditional music. A former student at Berklee College of Music, he has toured internationally with bands like Cantrip, The Outside Track, The McDades and Kalos, and is a sought-after collaborator in both performance and studio settings. Eric’s background spans Celtic, folk, bluegrass, and classical influences, giving his playing a rich and responsive character.
